Data Query System

Rapidly identify the right sites & investigators

Data Query System (DQS) helps sponsors identify the right investigators and sites for their trials via a searchable global database comprised of an expanded pool of investigators and multi-sourced study performance metrics.

Limitations to recruiting the best sites & investigators

Multiple factors contribute to considerable inefficiencies in finding potential investigators with the right skills and experience to conduct clinical trials, lengthening the site identification process and feasibility analysis. And, at worst, contributing to sub-optimal site selection, performance and ultimately, the need for rescue sites.

Expand your horizons with DQS

Data Query System (DQS) offers clients a highly robust, searchable data repository that better enables them to identify the right sites and investigators for their clinical trials and better support study planning.

This cloud-based system provides participating sponsors access to an expanded repository of clean information from a greater pool of investigators and sites beyond those in their own databases.

Tapping enriched data – better together

Participating sponsors can reciprocally share data through mutually agreed upon inter-company collaboration in the form of an investigator registry and databank. This information is further enhanced by publicly available information and is curated by IQVIA therapeutic experts. Members provide their CTMS data at least monthly and IQVIA integrates, standardizes and cleans it, using a unique identifier, the Golden Number.

Finding the right sites & investigators for your specific protocol

DQS information is based on historical investigator-, facility- and study-level enrollment metrics -- including past performance in study recruitment and start-up times -- along with site-provided profile information. This enhances a study team’s ability to find the right skills and experience key to better identifying sites, conducting feasibility analyses and making study planning decisions, given the parameters of their studies. The user can identify ideal investigators/sites either directly within DQS or by feeding DQS shared data into their own systems.

Improving accuracy and operational execution

DQS provides users with a significantly smarter list of sites built on an integrated view of the competitive landscape, historical performance, regulatory findings and country-level performance.  The results include:

  • more on-target identification of high-performing sites
  • reduced time spent on feasibility assessments and selecting and starting up inappropriate sites
  • fewer non-performing sites
  • greater investigator engagement
