On February 22, the Hospitable Pharmacy Workday entitled 'Health outcomes: transparency, information and research', organized by Diariofarma in collaboration with IQVIA and the SEFH, was held. The event was attended by 100 people.
Concha Almarza presented the event with José María López, Diariofarma Director and Ana Lozano, SEFH, vice president.
During the first part of the day, Sonia Fraile moderated a forum entitled "Clinical research in Spain and health outcomes". In this discussion participated: Miguel Rodríguez Gómez (University Hospital of Cabueñes, Manager) Gerardo Cajaraville (head of the Hospital Pharmacy Service of the Oncological Institute of San Sebastián) and Luis León (Promotion and Planning of Health Research Agency of Health Knowledge of Galicia, Director).
In the second part of the event, David Pedreño from IQVIA UK, spoke about how information and transparency can improve health outcomes. He also explained a project he carried out in the UK in which patients, through an easy-to-use app, reported their experience throughout the medical treatment.
