Clinical Trials have been subject of discussion over the years. Work groups and support platforms have been set up, studies about the reality in Portugal have been made, and agreements were published. Now in 2018, how is Clinical Research in Portugal? What constraints were found? And what has led to an inertia in the development of this area, whose relevance is perfectly assumed? In fact there are many questions and in order to find communication bridges about the state of art of the Clinical Trials and the future of Clinical Research in Portugal, IQVIA gathered in an Advisory Board session a set of stakeholders with an intervening role in this area , such as the Pharmaceutical Industry, Hospitals, Parliament, Teaching Institutions and CROs (Contract Research Organizations).
