As digital health tools become increasingly integrated into chronic disease management, this study examined whether CGM use is associated with improved cardiometabolic outcomes beyond glycaemic control. The findings support the evolving role of CGMs as real-time biofeedback tools that may help individuals manage long-term health risks and support healthier ageing.

This study assessed the long-term clinical and economic value of semaglutide and tirzepatide for obesity management in Portugal. The findings demonstrate that obesity pharmacotherapy can delay the onset of complications and associated healthcare costs, with semaglutide shown to be a cost-effective treatment option from a Portuguese payer perspective.

Time Trend in the Prevalence of Anti Obesity Medication Prescription among different physician specialties in Germany

This study examined prescribing trends for anti-obesity medications across general practice, cardiology and gynecology in Germany between 2019 and 2025. While prescribing expanded rapidly across specialties, treatment rates remain far below the population burden of obesity, highlighting the need for policy changes and improved reimbursement to support equitable access to care.

Sex-Specific Associations Between Body Mass Index and Vascular and Cardiometabolic Diseases: Evidence from 233,730 Patients in Germany

Drawing on IQVIA Disease Analyzer data from more than 3,000 physicians in Germany, obesity was associated with an increased risk of multiple cardiovascular and vascular conditions. Important sex-specific differences were observed, highlighting the need for more personalised approaches to cardiovascular risk assessment and obesity management.
