This poster presents the internal validation of the Core Obesity and Diabetes Model (CODM), assessing its ability to predict the incidence of type 2 diabetes and major cardiovascular events across populations with different glycaemic status. Model predictions are compared against established external risk calculators, demonstrating strong internal validity and clinical plausibility, and supporting the use of CODM for clinical and economic evaluations.
