In early 2025, we made four top-of-mind calls, along with potential implications for Patient Support1: policy volatility would test access; macro pressure would demand measurable efficiency; AI would become platform-level; and pricing/staffing would begin to shift. This report card scores those calls against what actually happened, confirming where momentum is real, where it’s early, and what to do next. How to interpret

The Bottom Line
During 2025, access/adherence held center, efficiency became mandatory, and AI moved from pilot to platform. Pricing and staffing shifts are emerging but uneven, so IQVIA recommends governing to outcomes while you scale automation and preserve high-touch moments. Treat these grades as a 2026 checklist: cut time-to-resolution, improve first call resolution, and anchor partners on results – not FTEs.
