Global Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) are vital and fundamental to awareness and advocacy. They are those few individuals who have earned the right to tell the story of a new product or indication and create genuine excitement and practice change. Healthcare has gotten more complicated, however, and drug product stories are more complex and the number of stakeholders involved in generating awareness and changing practice has multiplied. We know that even great products with compelling safety and efficacy profiles do not reach enough patients quickly enough and a major reason is that medical affairs and commercial teams do not engage, educate, and inform a broad enough group of stakeholders.

During this webinar we will:

  • Discuss how pharmaceutical and biotech teams can map opinion leaders more broadly
  • Explore if it is possible to accurately identify and engage healthcare professionals who understand and interact most closely with regulators, payers, and patients
  • Analyze how the most influential healthcare providers change over the course of an asset lifecycle
  • Discuss how to map all relevant stakeholders and keep track of engagement with them over time and between clinical, medical, and commercial functions
