RNA therapies are a new drug class designed to treat and/or prevent a specific disease using RNA-based molecules. RNA drugs have recently come into focus following the approvals and Emergency Use Authorizations of mRNA vaccines for COVID-19. Advancements in the purification and cellular delivery of RNA have enabled the development of RNA-based therapeutics for a broad array of applications. RNA therapies are cost effective and can be readily manufactured.
