Top Value es un nuevo modelo de evaluación sanitaria centrado en el valor de la actividad clínica (Value Based Healthcare), en consonancia con las nuevas tendencias de evaluación a nivel mundial.
En el nuevo escenario, ganan fuerza conceptos como la evaluación de problemas de salud concretos, la adecuación de la asistencia o el paciente-centrismo genuino. Aspectos como la co-participación de los pacientes en la decisión de las estrategias terapéuticas o la medida de los resultados de salud reportados directamente por los pacientes mediante instrumentos PROM están en la raíz de un modelo que busca cuantificar cuánto aporta el sistema en términos de resultados a cambio de cuánto coste.
Desde esta perspectiva, este modelo propone un marco razonable, legítimo y factible que permita posicionar vuestra organización sanitaria en su camino a la asistencia de valor. Un marco que le permita medirse y mejorar con esfuerzos realizados en el camino hacia el valor y que al mismo tiempo pueda ser un espejo en el que pueda mirarse una organización que arranca su trayectoria.
