Sell-out data

Sell-out data coming from a panel of ~2,200 private retail pharmacies. The panel is representative of each of 70 geographical territories across Greece so that with statistical projection an accurate and concrete view of the total market is ensured. Every single product that is being dispensed through a pharmacy is recorded and organized in one of five (5) different databases with specific market characteristics. Retail Pharmacies data can be purchased as a monthly, quarterly and semiannual subscription or as an ad- hoc sales report.

Rx products

Pharmaceutical Monitor (one of the five available sales databases) includes all prescription-bound products, all the MHSYFA products and also the Diabetic Strips. The products are classified according to the (European Pharmaceutical Market Research Association) EPhMΡΑ in 16 ATC1s with corresponding ATC2 / ATC3 / ATC4 levels. Information is provided per Corporation (Marketing Authorization Holder), Product name and pack. Additional information provided includes Administration Form, Launch Date, Original / Generic, Rx-bound / MHSYFA as well as several additional attributes upon request like EOF code, Patent status and Counting units among others.

Consumer Health products

The categorization in each of the Consumer Health database defines clearly each market and its related sub-markets and products so that the performance of a brand is viewed in the proper market segment and measured vs its competitors.

  • Self-Medication Monitor (OTC) includes all MHSYFA and all Over-The-Counter products like Vitamins, Minerals, Pain Relief, Skin Treatment ointments etc. Products of this database are classified primarily into 17 OTC1 markets with corresponding OTC2 / OTC3 / OTC4 sub-markets.
  • Personal Care Monitor (PEC) includes Beauty Products for men and women, Hair, Oral and Personal Hygiene products, Baby products etc. Products of this database are classified primarily into 14 PEC1 markets with corresponding PEC2 / PEC3 / PEC4 sub-markets.
  • Patient Care Monitor (PAC) includes products like Plasters and Bandages, Contact Lenses Care, Injection Devices, Various Tests and Diabetic Strips among others. Products of this database are classified primarily into 24 PAC1 markets with corresponding PAC2 / PAC3 / PAC4 sub-markets.

Hospital Data

Actual (non-extrapolated) Purchase and Consumption data from Public Hospitals. Data can be provided at a National level, by Health District (YPE) or by hospital account. Upon feasibility and client request data could be provided per ward (clinic). Coverage varies per YPE as new hospitals are added to the hospital panel on a continuous basis. Market definition is based on selected products, molecules or therapeutic classes and information is provided per Corporation (Marketing Authorization Holder), Product name and pack. Proprietary analytic tools allow for flexible database access and fast generation of detailed reports for each selected market. Data are available to purchase as a quarterly or semiannual subscription or even as an ad-hoc sales report with back data available to January 2012. For all frequency delivery options, data are provided with a monthly breakdown.

Territorial Retail Pharmacies Data

The size of the IQVIA panel (~2,200 pharmacies) allows for accurate representation of all products dispensed through Private Retail Pharmacies in 70 territories across Greece. Both Rx and Consumer Health products can be monitored with territorial granularity on a monthly, quarterly or semiannual basis and data are available through an online analytical tool (IQVIA Analysis Manager) to allow access from any place or device. Territorial Retail Pharmacies data from IQVIA are used by the majority of the companies that dispense their products through the pharmacy channel, in order to evaluate their sales force performance.
