LEARN MOREHealth Technology Assessment (HTA) has played a role in Indonesia’s health system since the launch of the National Health Insurance (JKN) in 2014, particularly in informing decisions about which health technologies should be or should not be covered under the benefits package.
Now, the government is taking a significant step forward. With the Ministry of Health’s launch of the “One Door, One-Standard HTA Business Process” in late 2024, Indonesia is moving toward a more coordinated, transparent, and systematic approach to the HTA process. This moment invites stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem, from government, industry, providers, researchers, and civil society, to understand the emerging HTA landscape and how it may shape the way health technologies are evaluated, prioritized, and potentially made available in the years ahead.
This webinar is designed to provide a clear, accessible introduction to HTA’s evolution in Indonesia, its current direction, and what it could mean for different stakeholders.
