IQVIA Technology Day 2017

Is the pharmaceuticals industry failing to close the digital gap?

Whether it is e-health, health apps or video consultations, the digital world opens up new opportunities for patients and doctors. But where do the traditional pharmaceuticals companies stand as regards these far-reaching changes in the nature of healthcare? This question was discussed at the IQVIA Technology Day held on 17 May 2017 in Frankfurt am Main. Around 90 participants from the pharmaceuticals industry and research bodies benefited from the event to find out about customer-centred strategies, cross-functional organisational structures, real-time analysis tools and other future trends. The various presentations also allowed ample time for discussion of the ideas involved. Current trends in multi-channel management, the processing of big data and the use of social media to analyse customer needs were major topics of the day.
